These three bilingual Chinese/English volumes detail the most important events in the life of Tripitaka Master Hsuan Hua (1918 – 1995) from his birth in a small village in Manchuria, China to his founding of 28 monasteries and Way Places all over the world.

Master Hua is known for establishing monastic Mahayana Buddhism on American soil and ordaining the first Western monks and nuns.

These volumes also contain some of his most memorable lectures, many rare black and white photos of his days in Hong Kong and early days in the United Sates and essays by his disciples describing his profound influence on them.
